Read an article where a developer said hands are tough because they're so flexible and the AI sees them from too many angles. It doesn't get the basic structure like we do. Makes sense why it always gives people seven fingers or weird, melted wrists. The training data is probably full of bad examples too. Seems like a problem that needs a totally new approach, not just more images.

Yeah, and it's like that with a lot of tech now. My smart speaker can't understand a simple request if I phrase it slightly wrong, because it only knows the exact commands it was given. Or those self-checkout machines that freak out if you put your bag in the wrong spot. They're trained on one perfect idea of how things should be, but real life is messy and full of weird angles, just like hands. The system breaks down the second it meets something it wasn't directly shown a million times.
