My AI art bot went rogue and started making nightmare fuel for a client in Seattle

I was using Stable Diffusion to make some simple logo ideas for a coffee shop, and after about 50 images it just started spitting out these messed up, melting faces. It was like it got stuck on some bad data from its training set. I had to stop the whole job, clear the cache, and switch to a completely different model checkpoint to get back to normal. Has anyone else had a model just totally break on a simple task like that?

That melting face thing sounds like a corrupted model file.

I always blamed the prompts, but @jamie794's corrupted file idea makes a lot more sense now.

Maybe @jamie794 is right, but sometimes the prompt itself can trigger latent weirdness in the model.
