My neighbor saw my AI garden planner and now wants one for himself.

He's asking me how it predicts plant growth based on weather data...

Tell your neighbor it's basically just guessing based on old weather reports. Plants grow how they grow, rain or shine. These AI tools take a bunch of numbers and spit out a best guess, but it's not magic. Real gardening needs your eyes and hands, not a computer telling you what might happen. Weather changes too fast for any guess to be perfect anyway. Save the fancy tech for something that actually matters.

@blake_cooper is right, these weather apps can mess up big time. My neighbor used one to plan her watering schedule, and it missed a huge heat wave. All her lettuce bolted before she could harvest. Nothing beats checking the soil yourself and looking at the sky. Tech guesses are never as good as getting your hands dirty in the garden.
