Pro tip: that 'AI will replace all coders' hype is pure garbage

My buddy at Google told me last year to stop learning Python because AI would write all the code by now. Here I am in 2024, still debugging his AI-generated mess that broke our production database. Has anyone else gotten dangerously bad code from these tools?

Three coworkers and I spent a full day last month untangling a ChatGPT-generated loop that somehow emailed 14,000 customers the wrong invoice. I feel your pain, that stuff is dangerous when people trust it blindly.
