Appreciation post: That time my air fryer filled the kitchen with smoke from a frozen pizza
I was in my apartment off I-35 last Saturday when I forgot to poke holes in the crust and it started billowing smoke so bad the fire alarm went off, so I just opened every window and ate the burnt pizza on the balcony, has anyone else ruined a quick dinner from skipping the instructions?

wait hold on, poking holes? i thought you only had to poke holes in the crust for homemade dough or the thick stonebaked ones. the thin crust frozen pizzas usually have little cuts in the top already from the factory. i learned that the hard way after i poked holes in one and the cheese all melted out onto the bottom of the basket and burned into a sticky crusty mess. now i just check the top for those slits before i do anything.

Did I really need to read the whole manual for a frozen pizza? Yeah now I know better, totally changed my mind on skipping steps after my own smoke incident!
