Frozen chicken patties are a scam in the air fryer
Thought I'd save $5 buying bulk frozen patties instead of fresh. Threw four in the air fryer at 380 for 12 minutes. Came out soggy on the inside, dry on the outside. Tried twice more with different temps, same result. Anyone else find frozen stuff just doesn't crisp up right in these things?

Hate to say it but preheating helps a LITTLE, not a lot. I think the REAL problem is frozen stuff just holds too much moisture no matter what you do. It's like those "quick fix" products are a total SCAM across the board. You pay for convenience but get a mushy mess every time because the water inside has nowhere to go. Honestly feels like everything nowadays is designed to look good on the package but fails in real life.
