Just realized my air fryer saved a dinner party last Saturday
I had 8 people over and my oven decided to die right as I was about to roast the potatoes. I threw 3 pounds of chopped russets into the air fryer in two batches, 20 minutes each at 400 degrees. They came out perfectly crispy and saved the whole meal. Has anyone else had to rely on their air fryer for a big group when another appliance failed?

Honestly, that's a solid save. It really shows how these things are basically tiny backup ovens. My toaster oven died last month and the air fryer handled all my frozen snacks for a week.

Did you end up replacing the toaster oven, or did the air fryer just take over its job full time? It seems like a lot of small appliances overlap in what they can do. I'm trying to cut down on counter space myself.
