My air fryer basket coating started peeling after 5 weeks
I got a new air fryer in early July and used it almost every night for chicken thighs and frozen fries. Then last Friday I pulled out the basket and saw this weird black flaking stuff stuck to my food. I washed it by hand every time, never used metal tools, but the nonstick coating just gave up. I ended up tossing a whole batch of wings because I didnt trust eating those flakes. Has anyone else had their basket coating fail this fast? Im trying to figure out if I should just buy a replacement basket or switch to a liner.
