My air fryer basket coating started peeling off after only 3 months
I pulled out my basket last night to make fries and found big flakes of nonstick coating mixed in with my food, has anyone else had this happen and found a good replacement basket that doesn't cost half the price of a new air fryer?

...and then I found a piece of the coating stuck to my chicken nugget. I was so grossed out I almost threw the whole thing away. I ended up just buying one of those silicone air fryer liners for now, but it's not the same as the actual basket. My buddy told me you can buy replacement baskets on Amazon from random brands for like 15 bucks, but I'm worried those will peel too.

Your buddy's right about Amazon but you gotta check the material. Most of those 15 dollar ones are ceramic coated too, same problem waiting to happen. What you want is a pure stainless steel basket, no coating at all, won't peel ever.
