My frozen fries came out soggy at my buddy's place in Reno so I hacked his air fryer and now he won't stop texting me

Ha! Been there. Tell him to soak the fries in cold water for 30 min then dry them real good before they hit the basket. Wet fries equals steam equals soggy every time, and yeah stop messing with his machine.
