Visited my sister in Portland and her air fryer broccoli blew my mind

I was at my sister's place in Portland last weekend and she made air fryer broccoli that actually tasted good. I always thought broccoli was just bland boiled stuff but she tossed it with some oil and garlic powder. 400 degrees for like 8 minutes and it came out crispy on the edges. She said she uses the same method for cauliflower too. Anyone got other veggie recipes that work well in the air fryer?

Yeah the trick with broccoli is getting that moisture out so it actually browns instead of steaming, and 400 is the sweet spot for sure. Try tossing some brussels sprouts halved with a little balsamic and honey before you air fry them at the same temp, they get all caramelized on the outside. Also carrots work great if you slice them into sticks with a tiny bit of oil and cumin.

Last time I tried brussels sprouts in mine they set off the smoke detector in the whole basement within three minutes. Had to eat them sitting on the front porch.
