Hit 1,000 days since my last FAA reportable and I feel like I'm jinxing myself just typing this
I logged into our tracking system this morning and my name popped up with 1,000 straight days with nothing reportable, which shocked me because I genuinely thought a scraped knuckle from a cowling latch last spring would count. Here's the frustrating part, our lead found out and now he wants a photo of me holding a sign for the company newsletter, and I told him that is exactly how you get the universe to hand you a fuel leak on a Friday night. I have three turnarounds tomorrow on the CRJs and I already feel like I should knock on the hangar door twice before I touch anything. Am I being dumb about this or do other folks on the floor really believe in the jinx too?
