PSA: My $80 magnetic socket holder was a total waste of money on the line

I bought a GearWrench 20 piece set thinking it would keep my sockets organized during a heavy check on a 737. The magnets just weren't strong enough, and the whole thing tipped over when I bumped it, scattering sockets into a panel. I had to spend an extra hour doing an FOD check. Anyone have a better tool organization method for a busy hangar floor?

Ugh, I feel your pain. I had the exact same thing happen with a magnetic tray. I ended up just using a basic roll-up canvas pouch with the little slots. It sounds low-tech, but you can just lay it flat on your cart and nothing rolls away. I even sewed a strip of webbing on mine to hold my ratchet. It's not fancy but it saved me so much time crawling around looking for a 10mm.

Right? That canvas pouch trick is genius, I do the same thing and haven't lost a socket since.
