A builder in Boise asked why we still run separate wires for every sensor
He thought a wireless mesh would cut his labor time in half, but after my last retrofit in an old brick building where wifi drops every other room, I told him hardwired still pays off for reliability, has anyone else had to explain that to a customer face to face?

Read a study last month, wireless mesh still drops packets like crazy in old buildings with thick walls.
