Blew a whole afternoon on a sensor that just needed a different magnet
Last month I swapped out a door contact on a commercial job in Newark and the panel kept showing a fault. I chased wiring, checked voltages, replaced the sensor twice, even re-terminated the zone. Three hours later I noticed the magnet I grabbed from my van was a reed switch magnet, not the right polarity for that model. Swapped it with the proper one and it closed in two seconds. Has anyone else burned time on something this dumb, or is it just me and my messy parts bin?

Maybe your parts bin is the problem, not the sensor.
