Had 9 panels go in clean on Monday, then spent 6 hours Friday chasing one bad zone in a Denver crawlspace
Monday I knocked out 9 panel swaps in a row at an office park in Denver, no callbacks, no surprises, done by 3pm. Friday was the opposite, one zone on an old wired loop kept tripping and I crawled that space 4 times testing every splice before I found a staple biting into the wire behind a joist. Same job, same week, two totally different days, and it got me thinking about how much of this trade is just luck of the draw with old wiring. Do you all quote flat rate on retrofits or pad the bid for the days that go sideways?
