Walked through an old bank retrofit and felt like a dinosaur

The place still had the original 1980s foil on the glass and a panel mounted in a vault closet, which got me thinking about how we don't even run separate zones to windows anymore, so how many of you still bother with contact sensors on large commercial glass today?

Old school foil tape is peak nostalgia, right? We just finished a retrofit where the customer literally asked for door contacts on every single window, and I was like, dude, that's $4k in labor alone for zero payoff.
