Warning: I was taping my wire bundles wrong for a decade

A client in Tempe pointed out my neat, tight wraps were stressing the conductors, which finally clicked when I saw a slight green tinge on some copper last week. Anyone else have a basic practice they had to unlearn after way too long?

Green on copper is never good, but how much stress are we really talking about here? Seems like a small thing to worry over.

Look at the big picture, Charles, it's not just a small thing.
