Wasted $400 on a 'smart' alarm panel that only works with their cloud service

Panel bricked after their server went down for maintenance at 3am, so now I'm back to pulling wire for old-school hardwired zones, anyone else deal with cloud-dependent gear failing on a service call?

Did you check if you can flash custom firmware onto that panel?

Worked great for me @fisher.kevin, just had to find the right firmware version first.
