Had a pipe burst in my basement while I was on vacation last month
Got back from a week in Canmore to find 2 inches of standing water in my finished basement. My sump pump failed and I didn't have a backup system installed. Anyone dealt with insurance claims for water damage like this and how long did they take to process?

Insurance adjusters move at a snails pace, good luck lol.

Did you try calling them instead of just emailing back and forth? I had a claim drag for weeks until I got a real person on the phone and asked for a timeline in writing. That seemed to light a fire under them, so maybe worth a shot if you havent already.
