Am I the only one who noticed the fake plants at the downtown Starbucks?

Went into the Starbucks on 5th and Main yesterday. Counted 12 fake plants on that one wall. They looked okay from far away but up close, so dusty. Who decorates a coffee shop with plastic greenery and calls it cozy? Am I overthinking this or is that just lazy interior design?
