Genuine question, should I redo the bathtub tile or leave the mismatch?

I picked a slightly off-white tile from the clearance rack in Portland for my tub surround, thinking it would match the existing shower. It's visibly more cream once the light hits it, and the caulk line makes it worse. I'm ignoring a cosmetic flaw I notice every morning, but ripping it out costs $300 in materials plus lost weekends. Has anyone else lived with a color mismatch this close, or did it bug you until you fixed it?
