Heard a guy at the diner say 'they're probably talking about me' when a table laughed. I do that too. Am I overthinking every laugh I hear?

Yeah I do that too. It helps to remember most people are just focused on their own stuff, not us.

But what about when people actually are watching? Like when you trip on a sidewalk crack, you can bet the guy in the car at the red light saw it. He'll forget in two seconds, but he still saw it. That's the weird part.
