Hit 500 client accounts today and it messed with my head in a good way

I run a small landscaping crew and I keep a little notebook where I tally every job we finish. This morning I marked number 500, not because I was tracking it on purpose, it just happened. I had to stop and think about all the lawns I mowed back when it was just me and a borrowed truck, mostly for people who paid late or argued about the price. Now I have a crew of 4 and a waiting list. What got me was that 500 felt like a random number, but it made me realize I still price jobs like I'm that one-man operation. I undercharged a fence line job last week because I forgot we now have a power auger that saves us 2 hours. Has anyone else hit a business milestone and suddenly saw their old habits clearly? How do you stop thinking small once the numbers say you're not small anymore?

500 jobs in a notebook? Man that really got me. I cant even keep track of what I did last tuesday let alone have a whole book full of finished work like that. The part about still pricing like you're alone with a borrowed truck hit hard because that's some real brain stuff right there. You got a power auger sitting in your shed and your head is still doing math from five years ago. That fence job mistake is probably the best thing that could have happened though because now you see it clear as day. The numbers dont lie but your habits sure do sometimes.
