I finally stopped second-guessing my lunch order at the diner
I've been going to the same diner on Main Street for about 4 months now, every Friday after my shift. Every single time I'd stare at the menu for like 10 minutes, flip back and forth between the club sandwich and the patty melt, and then panic-order whichever one the waitress happened to glance at first. Last Friday I just closed the menu, pointed at the patty melt, and said it without thinking. The waitress even looked surprised and said "you usually take longer than that." I know it's such a tiny thing, but it felt like I finally turned off the noise in my head for one second. Is this what normal people feel like all the time, or do you all still do the menu dance too? Has anyone else had a small decision that just... clicked one day without a reason?

Lean into it. Next Friday order the club without thinking.
