I raced my mop against my neighbor's steam cleaner on my kitchen floor and the cheap one won
My neighbor let me borrow her $180 steam mop last Tuesday so I could see if it was worth buying for my own place. I mopped half the kitchen with my $12 sponge mop and half with hers, and my side dried faster with zero streaks while hers left a weird film near the baseboards. Am I crazy for thinking the fancy one is overkill, or did I just use it wrong?
