Spent 45 minutes yesterday trying to get a single cabinet door hinge aligned...
It's a standard euro hinge, nothing special. I took the door off, adjusted the screw, put it back on, it was worse. Did that maybe 12 times. Finally got it perfect and my wife just says 'good job' like I didn't just fight a war with a screwdriver. Anyone else spend way too long on something that should be a 5 minute job?

Fought a war with a screwdriver" is the most accurate description of home improvement I've ever heard (and I've heard a lot of them). I feel your pain on the euro hinges, man. Those things have a mind of their own, especially when you're trying to dial in that perfect gap. What kills me is the time loop you get into where you think you've got it, close the door, step back, and it's clearly off by a millimeter. Then you have to start all over again because you can't just nudge it, you gotta take the whole door off and guess which screw to turn (and of course you pick the wrong one half the time).
