Took me about the same amount of time to realize I was seasoning mine with vegetable oil and wondering why everything stuck like glue. Had a whole pan dedicated to eggs that was basically nonstick in reverse. Finally switched to grapeseed oil after my buddy laughed at me for an hour straight. Now I just pretend I knew what I was doing the whole time.

Honestly, that "nonstick in reverse" line killed me, @gonzalez.vera, because it's true for so many things in life. We all stick with what we know even when it's clearly not working, just out of habit or stubbornness. It's like people who keep using the same old dull knife to cut tomatoes and get mad at the tomato when it squishes. You think you're doing it right until someone laughs at you, and then suddenly everything clicks. That moment of realizing you've been doing it wrong for years is humbling, but at least now you can pretend you were in on the joke the whole time.
