A chat at the Amarillo Chamber mixer made me rethink my whole website.

I was at the Chamber's small business mixer last Tuesday, just grabbing a cookie, when a lady asked me what I did. I said 'pressure washing' and she immediately pulled out her phone to look me up. She couldn't find my business address listed anywhere on my site! She said, 'If I can't find you in 10 seconds, I'm calling the next guy.' I spent that whole night adding my location to every page. How many of you have had a customer point out a simple fix you totally missed?

That "10 second" rule she hit you with is so real. I had a landscaping site where the contact form was buried at the bottom of the "About" page. My cousin tried to book me and literally texted me like "dude where's your number." Felt so dumb. Now my phone number is in the header on every single page, no digging needed.

Totally get that, I added a map widget after a client got lost.
