Dropped $220 on new signage and my foot traffic actually doubled

I run a small repair shop on Grand Street and finally paid a local sign maker to redo my faded storefront sign last month. It cost $220 plus installation, and I honestly thought it was a waste until the next two weeks brought in twice the walk-ins asking if I'd moved in recently. Has anyone else seen a real payoff from investing in curb appeal like this, or did I just get lucky?
