Hit 50 repeat customers in my first year and nobody warned me about this

Everyone talks about getting new clients but nobody mentions how much time those 50 regulars take up with questions and small tweaks. Has anyone else found that loyal customers actually eat more of your schedule than one-off jobs?

oh yeah, 100%. those repeat clients nickel and dime your time with tiny requests that take forever to add up. i had one guy message me 12 times about a font size change last month. theyre great for steady cash but bad for your calendar if you don't set hard boundaries.

Is it really nickel and diming though, or is that just the cost of having steady work come in without having to hunt for it? A font size change takes maybe 30 seconds, and that client thinking of you for those tiny things means they're also the one recommending you to their friends. The trick is finding a middle ground where you're responsive without letting every little request throw off your whole day.
