I finally had it out with that guy at the hardware store on Georgia Street
Last Tuesday I walked into Ace Hardware to grab a specific PVC fitting for a job near the old fairgrounds and this older clerk kept trying to upsell me on a $40 coupling I didn't need. He literally said 'you'll be back in an hour when that cheap one cracks' while holding the wrong size in his hand. Has anyone else dealt with that one clerk who acts like they know your business better than you do?

That "you'll be back in an hour" line hit too close to home. I say that to myself every time I start a project.
