Totally agree, a sorted filing system saves so much headache. I started using color-coded folders for client contracts and tax documents. Why waste time digging through piles when you can grab what you need in seconds? Even simple things like naming digital files with dates make a huge difference. Take your system further by adding version numbers to file names, like "contract_v2_final.pdf". This avoids mixing up drafts and saves time hunting for the right one. Set a monthly purge day to delete or archive old files, keeping everything fresh. Using search-friendly keywords in document titles makes finding things a breeze later. Wow, color-coded folders for contracts and taxes? That's next level organized compared to my mess. I mean, my system is basically just a pile of files named "stuff" and "new stuff." Maybe it's just me but seeing that actually makes me feel bad about my desktop.
