Popped into Black Door Coffee last Tuesday for the first time

I had some free time last week and finally checked out Black Door Coffee over on 6th Street. Wasn't expecting much but the owner was actually roasting a batch right there behind the counter and talked to me for 10 minutes about where they source their beans locally. Has anyone else found a small spot in town that surprised you with how much effort they put into their product?

Man, that's awesome! I love hearing about spots like that where the owner actually cares about what they're doing instead of just slapping a fancy sign on the door. It's so rare to find someone who'll stop what they're doing and just chat with a customer about their beans, you know? I had a similar experience at a little bakery off Main Street a few months back, the baker came out flour all over his apron and spent fifteen minutes telling me about his sourdough starter. It really makes you want to support those places even more when you see the passion. Glad you had a good first visit there, sounds like a real gem in the neighborhood.
