Showerthought: I was dead set against bartering for my shop's bookkeeping until a plumber explained his system
A plumber down on 6th told me he trades 6 hours of work each quarter with his accountant for tax prep and it costs him nothing but time he'd waste anyway. Has anyone here tried a straight trade like that with a local vendor, or does it always turn into a mess?

yeah I do this with my barber actually. I do his books once a month and he cuts my hair and my kid's hair for free. been going on like 3 years now with zero problems. as long as both people actually show up and do the work it's honestly a no brainer.
