That Tuesday last month when every customer said yes
I run a small landscaping business here in Amarillo, and last month I had a Tuesday that I still think about. I had three estimates scheduled that day, which is normal, but what wasnt normal was that all three said yes right there on the spot. One was a big front yard overhaul for a house off Coulter Street, worth about $4,200. The other two were smaller maintenance contracts, but they added up to another $1,800. I was so surprised because usually people want to think it over for a week or get other bids. I think it helped that I brought photos of recent jobs and a clear price sheet printed out. Has anyone else had a day where things just clicked and you landed every prospect?

Used to think bringing paperwork to estimates felt too pushy or salesy. Changed my mind after that Tuesday when every single person signed on the spot without asking for a discount or wanting to think about it. The photos and the clear price sheet really did the work for me, made everything feel legit and no guesswork for them. Honestly feel like I was overcomplicating it before with just talking and hoping for the best.
