Tried using an Amarillo payroll service for 3 months and got burned

I signed up with a local payroll company back in February. It was supposed to save me time with my landscaping crew of 5 guys. After 3 months I noticed they were double charging my account for worker's comp fees. When I called them they blamed a software glitch but took 2 weeks to refund me $340. I ended up going back to doing it myself with a simple spreadsheet. Has anyone else had a local service mess up their numbers like this?

Did you ever get them to show you a full breakdown of where the money was going? I am curious if the double charge was just a one time glitch or if they were systematically overbilling you.
