Unpopular opinion: I ran my Amarillo food truck like a restaurant for two years before a customer pointed it out

They said 'your menu is too big for a truck on 6th Street' and they were right. Anyone else in service here ever have a simple comment make you rethink your whole setup?

Man, that's the kind of outside view you just can't buy. It's easy to get so deep in the weeds you miss the obvious thing staring everyone else in the face.

That's so true, and @sageallen is right about missing the obvious. I see this all the time with my friend's overly complicated website, where a simple fix would help way more people.

Ain't that the truth. Overthinking a problem is like building a rocket ship to cross the street when a bike would do the trick. @sageallen totally nailed it - an outsider's brain sees the cracks we've painted over. My brother once spent weeks coding a complex form for his site, and I just pointed out he could use a free plugin in five minutes. He was mad, but hey, sometimes you need someone to call you out on your own nonsense. You ever had a moment where someone pointed out something so simple it stung?
