Bought a 'complete' collector's edition Blu-ray box set online.

It was missing disc 4. Didn't notice until the return window closed. Lost $80 on that thing.

That's rough man, $80 gone just like that. I had a similar thing happen with a Batman animated series box set, missing the entire second season. Took me months to even notice because I was working through the discs slowly, and by then the seller's store was just gone. You'd think companies would shrink wrap the whole thing or at least put a sticker on the front listing how many discs are inside, but nope. Now I make it a habit to film myself opening every collector's edition like I'm some kind of unboxing YouTuber just to have proof if a disc is missing. Sucks that we have to do that just to cover ourselves.

Is filming yourself opening a collector's edition really worth the hassle for an $80 loss? I mean, yeah it sucks to get burned but you're talking about spending more time and energy documenting everything like it's a crime scene. Seems like overkill when you could just buy from places with better return policies or check the damn box before you toss the receipt.
