Hit 200 completed anime last night and it felt weird

I started keeping a list during lockdown and somehow blasted past 200 without noticing. Does anyone else get that weird feeling when you realize how many hours you've sunk into this stuff?

Two hundred is just the warmup lap before your brain starts categorizing shows by which sword style the protagonist uses. Pretty sure 300 is when you unlock the ability to identify a Ufotable background just from the lighting alone. My memory for real life stuff is terrible but I can tell you exactly which filler episode of Naruto had that one really specific ramen shop scene.

DUDE yes. "So many hours you've sunk into this stuff" hits hard. I had that exact moment around 250. It was like a weird math problem in my head - that's like three straight months of my LIFE just watching cartoons. It really hit me when I finished a 90s show I'd been avoiding for years and realized I could remember every episode of it and also every episode of every other show I'd ever watched. My brain is basically a landfill of anime plot points and cold opens now.
