Just heard a podcast host call the 'Attack on Titan' ending talk 'exhausted' and move on after 2 minutes
It was on the 'Anime Deep Dive' podcast last week, and they basically shut down any chat about the finale because they were tired of it. Felt like a real brush-off to fans who still have thoughts, you know? How do you handle it when a discussion group just decides a topic is done for good?

I used to think bigger podcasts were better because they covered more ground. That Anime Deep Dive moment changed my mind, it felt so dismissive to just call a topic "exhausted." Now I get why @michaelo49 looks for smaller spots, places where people actually let a conversation breathe. Why even have a deep dive show if you're not willing to go deep on the big stuff?

That "brush-off to fans" feeling is the worst. I just found a smaller, more niche forum where people still wanted to talk.

Yeah, that "brush-off" feeling is exactly it. It makes you not even want to try to join in. So @michaelo49, what's the secret to finding those good smaller spots? I feel like every time I find a new forum, it's either totally dead or already huge and cliquey. How did you know this one was different, like that people actually wanted to talk?
