Just learned Goku's voice actor voices a total of 10 characters in Dragon Ball
I was reading a fan wiki last night and found out Masako Nozawa does Goku, Gohan, Goten, Turles, AND Bardock plus some others. That's wild to me she handles all those different personalities. Anyone else ever get surprised by a voice actor's range like that?

Nozawa's been voicing Goku since 1986, so she's had plenty of time to figure out all those different voices.

But like, does having that much time automatically mean she nails every different tone? I mean, Goku's got like five distinct voices even within the same show, right? The kid Goku stuff is completely different from the Super Saiyan screaming, plus the goofy moments. And then there's Gohan and Goten and Bardock, all with their own little quirks. I feel like she's been pulling off some subtle choices lately that even older fans miss, especially in the quiet moments. Have you actually compared her work in like DBZ episode 1 to a recent Super episode?
