Just realized sub vs dub was the wrong debate for me

I spent years swearing by subs, thinking dubs were for people who couldn't read fast enough. Then I started a new job where I'm on my laptop for 8 hours straight, and my eyes were killing me by evening. I barely had energy to watch anything. A buddy in the anime discord said he switched to dubs for the same reason and it saved his nightly viewing. I gave it a shot with Attack on Titan season 4 since I already knew the story. Honestly, the voice acting was solid and I didn't miss a single scene because I was looking away. Now I just pick whichever format fits my mood or my tired eyes. Has anyone else switched teams like this or do you stick to one side no matter what?

Lol welcome to the dark side, we have snack breaks and less eye strain. I still pretend I'm a sub purist in public though, gotta keep up appearances.
