Shoutout to that one anime YouTuber who convinced me to give slice-of-life a real shot

I always thought slice-of-life was boring, no action no point. Then I watched a 20-minute video breaking down the subtle animation in 'Non Non Biyori' and how the backgrounds tell a story, and I gave it three episodes and got hooked. Has anyone else been swayed by a deep dive video on a genre you wrote off?

Yeah, that Gigguk video on March Comes In Like a Lion got me to watch my first sol show.

March Comes In Like a Lion isn't really a pure sol show though. It's got sol elements but it's more of a drama about depression and recovery with some shogi mixed in. Still a great entry point though.
