Took me 3 years to realize I was skipping the wrong episodes of One Piece

So back when I first started watching One Piece, I looked up a filler list online and skipped everything it told me to skip. I figured that's what you do. Then I finally caught up to the Wano arc last month and realized I missed like 5 key episodes that were actually canon but some random blog labeled as filler. Now I have to go back and rewatch all that. Does anyone else just watch every episode now no matter what?

Exactly, that's why now I just watch every episode as is. Saves the headache of trusting some random internet list that might be wrong anyway.

Yeah I had a friend who tried using one of those skip lists for a show and it totally backfired on her. She skipped what she thought was a filler episode but it actually had a major character backstory reveal at the very end. She ended up spending hours trying to find a recap online to figure out what she missed. After that she just watches everything from start to finish like the rest of us. It's just not worth the risk of messing up the whole story for yourself.
