Why does nobody talk about the 'watch order' arguments for the Fate series?

I spent last weekend choosing between the 'release order' and 'Ufotable adaptation' viewing path, and honestly, both just lead to more confusion. Has anyone found a guide that actually makes sense?

Oh man, I hear you loud and clear. I tried one of those "chronological" orders for Fate and ended up watching Heaven's Feel before anything else because the chart had arrows pointing everywhere. My wife walked in and asked if I was doing homework for a class. I spent more time googling "what order to watch Fate" than actually watching the show. At one point I just gave up and clicked whatever looked cool on Netflix. Still don't know if I saw things in the right order but hey, I enjoyed it anyway.

Man, those watch order charts look like someone tried to map out a conspiracy theory with yarn and thumbtacks. I followed one that swore it was the "true" way, and I'm still not sure if I started in the right timeline. At this point, the real Fate experience is just being confused with everyone else.
