Appreciation post: That dying oak I saved last spring just leafed out huge

Three years ago I told the homeowner that 80 year old red oak had maybe one season left, but I did a deep root feeding and some cable bracing last April and it's covered in new growth this month. Anyone else had a tree bounce back after you thought it was a goner?
