Bought a $310 battery pole saw last spring and honestly my climbing spikes have been collecting dust since
I know the old school take is that a real arborist climbs everything, and I believed that for 12 years until I picked up a Milwaukee pole saw at the dealer in Lexington for about $310. Most of my pruning jobs are now done from the ground in half the time, and my shoulders quit hurting every Sunday night. Tbh I still climb for big removals, but has anyone else noticed their spikes sitting in the truck way more than they used to?

Yep, my spikes barely leave the truck now either, shoulders thank me every week.
