Wait, soap really works on a chainsaw? Did it leave any weird residue or gunk up the bar at all, or was it just a quick fix that washed right off?

I mean it's just soap, how much damage can it do? Seems like people are overthinking a simple trick.

Right up there with using dish soap to oil your engine.
