Tried a Silky Gomtaro vs my old folding saw on a big oak limb last week

I've used the same folding saw for years, but a buddy let me borrow his Silky Gomtaro 300. The difference in the cut was crazy. The Silky just zipped through a 6-inch diameter limb with way less effort and a much cleaner finish. I was skeptical about the price tag, but after that one job, I'm starting to see why people swear by them. For those who have made the switch, was it a game changer for you too, or are there other brands you like better?

Ever think about how much sawdust you're breathing in with the faster cut?

My dad cut wood for forty years without a mask and never complained. I get what @king.aaron is saying, but for a few limbs a year it seems like overkill. The fresh air is part of the job for me.

My arborist friend swears by wearing a basic dust mask with his Silky, says it makes a real difference.
